Cross Stitch #68- Lots of finishing fun! (AKA, I literally KILLED my iron. 😉)

Guys! I’m gearing up for the state fair this August and I have been finishing ALL THE THINGS! Hi Nell! What a fun visit! I love all the color talk- talking about the differences between the DMC white shades, and the different shades of your Victorian Mottos. I need to join a Victorian Motto club. I vote for the blue spruce floss more than the greeny one. I am a *very* amateur watercolor painter, and a teacher recommended once to use a little blue when painting leaves. She said that if you observe nature closely, you'll see shades of blue in with the green, especially in the shade. Now I do that all the time. And that blue spruce floss looks just dreamy! Good luck at the fair! I'm sending a piece to the Illinois State Fair this year after years of not having sent something. I love seeing all your finishes!

I didn't realize that Paula Vaughn did a floral booklet. I love her beautiful vintage designs! The iris is my favorite flower❣ I have a subscription to Just Cross Stitch but did not see the Home latitude/longitude chart. Love that!

Halloween and Christmas are two of my favorite holidays to stitch for! I almost always use called for colors because I don’t have any opinions on colors. As a friend and I both say … we have no taste! So when it comes to colors, I rarely change anything! Enjoy June! 💕💕💕
