Love your channel bro I'm starting the restoration of my 22 foot sailboat to have ready for spring. I hope mine turns out beautiful as your rig. I'm an experienced carpenter and fiberglass workers as I used to build multi million dollar race boats. So I'm sure I can do an extremely good restoration. But I have to say I'm sceptical about this water tank. Did you inform yourself about dissolving chemicals from the resin and silicon beforehand?
You had plenty of testing time now....how does it taste after the water has been sitting in it for a couple of days/weeks?

I have no clue about any of the stuff you're doing so if someone can enlighten me, I would be grateful. Why not just use a metal tank to hold water instead of having the water sit in epoxy resin and silicon? Also, the tank looks very small for going on such a long journey, why wasn't it made larger? Again, I apologise for my ignorance. I've just started watching this from episode 1 today and will continue watching all the videos. I'm in no way interested in anything to do with boats, but this whole documented adventure I find extremely fascinating!

The area where your hand did not fit could have been cut down for access. Baffling is not very important on the top of the tank. Now it is too late because it is sealed.

Plus pratique que mes bouteilles de coca de 2 litres que je remplie d'eau du robinet; mais je peu les matosser et surveiller plus facilement ma consommation d'eau douce (3 litres par jour pour une longue traversée).
