Agree Mr Swoopes. It was very hard to be openly gay back then. Especially when working in the industry It was just not universally accepted However now its the complete opposite they are a protected class and seems can do no wrong not held accountable even when they do wrong. I honestly don't know how I came across your video. I dated Jermaine back in the 80s. I danced on American bandstand. We met when I was young. I knew him with Jodi. I agree with you, he actually came out before the time of any gayness. I'm proud of him and still love him. He's my hero.

I first saw him on Soul Train, and he was full of Style and Skills. I knew he would make it to the big stage and entertain many around the world. He's been gone along time, but never forgotten. His music remains songs that make you dance and feel good.
