Military, federally employed in WA state brace for potential government shutdown

It’s a scramble right now as Congress works to come up with a way to fund the government by midnight Friday.

Without a solution, federal agencies would shut down, sending hundreds of thousands of federal employees either home or remain on the job without getting paid. There are more than 50,000 civilians working in those federal offices in Washington state.

I live in the area and with the chaos going on in the government we will most likely never see the money .and the State may just raise taxs to cover it .
