I've trying to create something like this for a long time. Didn't realize there's already an extension for it. This is why I love vscode. Imagine using Neovim and missing out on all the good stuff in vscode. I'd be mentally challenged.

Oh finally something new and truly useful! Honestly modern IDEs development feels like it just standing in place for the last decade, i can use all the tools from 2010 - 2014 in my workflow and it won’t make any major differences. I am happy to see the really useful debugging extension!

VS Code extensions? For me, they're like those exotic spices you buy at the market: you use them once to give a 'special' touch, then they end up taking up space in the pantry.
