The absolute ecstasy you feel when iron i ls revealed and you already have your district overtop of it

This but with horses! As if humans have never moved horses before in the history of human civilization.

Need an edit of Jesse Pinkman screaming "HE CANT KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS" when iron spawns before you can place your perfect district.

I feel like once you unlock Steel you should be able to harvest Iron especially since it’s basically useless at that point.

time to go back 50 turns and build the district before researching bronzeworking

ALSO I KNOW THERE'S A MOD that you can harvest them haha, i just thought it was funny.

ALSO as stated in my community post, video is a little delayed as its another big one like the All Wonder China game - so im taking a little more time editing and throwing up some shorts. video will be up MONDAY

I always play with "remove strategics" mod or something like that. And you get production when you "chop" the strategic, so satisfying

It’s really stupid how strategic resources stop you from building a district… but if you build the district then discover the resource suddenly it works… fix it in civ 7 PLEASE

Honestly, it'd be so much better if Anansi let you remove strategic as well. They have an inbuilt way to harvest unharvestable tiles, why not let us with iron horses etc 🙃

The fact this is still an issue let's you know the devs secretly hate all of us

The countless +5 and above that could have been. All gone like tears in rain.

The scariest thing in Civ6 is researching bronze working when you haven't placed good adjadency districts on hills yet.

Bro this is exactly how I feel trying to get land in any total war without offering land😂

I had this the other day, three cities mapped out and then realise there was the very high possibility of a single iron tile ruining my game. Ended up 180 turns in and still hadn’t researched iron until i got the set-up completed

That's why you place down the important district's before researching strategics that can ruin it. (Also you can (and generally should) place down districts, lock in the placements and you can continue building it later on)

This is specifically why I always do a Classical-era start.

Got this with coal yesterday. Had a perfect spot for a new holy site, installed Magnus in the city to clear the woods on that tile, and then discovered industrialization while he was establishing himself.

But a huge deal for me - a +4 holy site in the industrial era isn't exactly a game changer in a dominating game, but it's still annoying to miss out on it.

"And here is our wonderful university... with an iron mine directly in the middle.."

I refuse to even think about district adjacencies until I at least have horses revealed.

I play with tech and civics shuffle mode simply because of this. Sometimes you get lucky and your bronze working is further down the tech line and sometimes even in a dead end line. Horses too. :)
