Microsoft just dropped a LOT of new announcements about Copilot Studio at Microsoft Build 2025 — and in this video, I’ve pulled out the key things you need to know.

We’re breaking it down into four main themes:
🤖 Multi-agent orchestration – the most important concept to understand right now
🛠️ Copilot tuning – using your own data and style to shape Microsoft 365 Copilot
📚 New knowledge features – more control, more sources, and smarter responses
🧠 Some clever new tools – including Python-powered code interpreter, Visual Studio support, and early RPA-style capabilities

These updates show just how fast Copilot Studio is evolving — and what’s possible for us as makers, whether you’re working in low-code or pro-code.

The visual studio element is so amazing. I’ve started with the power platform primarily for its low code capabilities, but as time grew on and as my capabilities grew, I found it frustrating having to only resort to manual input.. I did find some ways of automated input using power shell for some SharePoint things, but not for any power automate this really opens up the floodgates for me thanks, Microsoft. And thanks, Lisa for this great video.

I wished MS would aquire N8N for the agent and multi agent section like what they did with Power automate desktop (WinAutomation) instead of inventing wheel from scratch - working with both tools, Copilot Studio agent It’s like using a spoon to dig a swimming pool, then realizing there’s an excavator parked next to you LOL

Thanks for the summary, Lisa! I really waiting for multi-agent! Currently, it's a sort of duct tape solution with invoking Copilot in Power Automate, Topics to handle the response, and a lot of confusing elements!! Let's see when this will be available🥳🥳

Nice video, Lisa ! Do you know by chance if we will be able do calculations natively inside the knowledge sources such as spreadsheets without having to invoke azure AI foundry to do the calculations ?

Hi Lisa, what application did you use to create this video and slides. I like the brand colors for this. Can you please share the brand colors in the background also.
Thank you

In old version of copilot, iı was possible to export users conversations to excel. In new agent, how can I see conversations? It is very useful way to improve agent's knowledge base documents

Do you know how often it reindex the files if you're connecting documents from SharePoint? Let's say you update one of those documents, curious how long it takes for the AI to detect them.

I was excited about this news…

It’s almost been a month since Build and this product is broken and unusable for the primary features announced. They’re half baked and riddled with errors. This is essentially a new coat of paint on Power Automate and the same over-engineered and disjointed tooling we’ve become use to. Microsoft, stop pushing your unfinished slop on us!
