Generally when governments say one thing just do the opposite

Yesterday on Carsales in Australia their were 551 used Tesla 3's of which 471 were trying to sell privately... that tells you dealers aren't interested in trading them.

As an ICE owner I could laugh but I know I will end up paying for this shambolic situation one way ir another. It's no laughing matter.

Wonderful news.A fool and his money are soon parted. They are fast becoming throw away items, such as TVs, white goods ect.

Oh dear, what a shame, never mind.
Who would ever have seen that coming.

Supply vs demand.
No demand for new, even less for used.

The best tests for a scam are: 1. Is the alleged problem a worldwide one, thus requiring a one world government to "solve" it, and 2. Is any opposition to the "solution" being supressed ? In the case of net zero, both apply.

My neighbour has a £80K Mercedes EQV - its now 2 years old. When he first got it the dealer called him a month after and offered a premium to buy the car back but my neighbour refused (big mistake). He barely gets 150 miles of range with it. In the Winter he can't turn on the heating too much as it eats up the range. And in the Summer - dare not turn on the AC for the same reason. He recently called the dealer and asked how much they'd offer for the car. He was offered under £30K for the car. That's a £50K drop in 2 years. And the irony. He has a 10 year old ICE Ford Focus which he uses more now than the Merc as the Ford gives more range and is less hassle.

Actually they have lost 42% in the last year in Australia.... whereas my 2008 V8 has gone up 125% in the same time 🤣😂🤣

Can anyone think of one thing that is battery powered that retains its value? Phones, laptop computers, etc. all quickly become trash.

I'll keep my ICE vehicle. No range derangement and very little depreciation. In fact the resale of my car is better than when I purchased it for.

They will have to pay for people to take them.

I read an article stating it costs $6, 750 to recycle a Tesla battery. I assume this will eventually be regulated and EV owners will be forced to pay to have their batteries recycled. So you'd end up with your EV having a negative value after 8-10 years.
