Guarantee you Game 1, Yamamoto will do the same thing he did in Yankee Stadium. I just know it.

Honestly the Freddie injury most hurts defensively. Especially in the playoffs when things get tight and people make bad throws. We need Freddie there to scoop and pick balls.

They didn't spend 325mil for nothing. He's young, but he has the stuff. It's all about confidence

“Why are you thinking about game 5?” Because that’s their jobs, Plashke. Someone actually has to think about these things. Absolutely idiotic comment.

GAME1
Will Dave Roberts choose Will Smith as his starting catcher with an emphasis on scoring ability?
I would like to pay attention to whether Austin Barnes will be selected due to his compatibility with Yoshinobu Yamamoto

Padres fan here. normally I'd be scared of the Padres Padreszing at some point, but this season seems different, especially after the loss of Peter Sidler. Fate seems like its on our side. Best of luck, gonna be a killer series!

Winning playoff baseball is all about pitching, defense and timely hitting. If this series is a tight series that becomes a bullpen game for the dodgers Dave Roberts will blow it. The dude has no idea how to manage the bullpen.

Bill is so bipolar lmao. "We absolutely can't lose Game 1, it's going to resurrect all the demons" "They're gonna sweep"

I’ll take Yamamoto to pitch first, and I have no doubt in him

Wow, this is the first time I’ve seen Plashke’s face in a really long time and now I’m concerned and super torn. I can’t make up my mind whether I hate his face more, or whether I hate his opinions and writing more. It’s really tough because they’re both so atrocious.

Not worried about the Padres is a big Mistake. This year Padres have beat Dodgers overall.

These guys have the easiest jobs in the world. If the Dodgers win, they’ll say what a great move putting Yamamoto as game one starter. If the Dodgers lose, they’ll say what a mistake of putting Yamamoto as game 1 starter. 😮

Dodgers vs Padres is becoming similar to the Yankees vs Red Sox in postseason play.

This was supposed to be a Dodgers vs Giants rivalry in postseason play. Dodgers vs Giants only played once in postseason play 2021.

Now it’s a Dodgers vs Padres rivalry in postseason play. This is the third time in four years that we’re seeing a Dodgers vs Padres in postseason play. 2020, 2022, 2024.

I feel like the San Diego Padres took over San Francisco Giants as a rivalry against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Dodgers are like the 49ers of baseball. They have a stacked roster but a questionable coach who will choke it away in the post season.

WHY WOULD THE DODGERS NOT CALL UP THEIR TOP MINOR LEAGUE PROSPECT? THE GUY CAN PLAY FIRST BASE AND CATCHER. HES THE JEWEL OF THE ORGANIZATION AND GOT VERY DECENT NUMBERS IN THE MINORS, WHAT ARE THEY AFRAID OF ? ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO SEE WROBLESKI ON THE ROSTER. I THINK HAVING THAT THIRD LHP IS VERY VALUABLE SINCE WE ARE FULL OF RHP ON THE STARTING ROTATION + HE COULD PITCH MULTIPLE INNINGS IF NEED TO

Game 1 is a must win. If the Madres score in the 1st inning the game might be over. Every time the Dodgers play them or the D-Backs and they score in the 1st the Dodgers lose. 1st inning shut down is a must

You guys need to remember that Padres lost one of their star pitchers and that also they are giving us a break from king

16 innings or 4 starts. At the end of the day, if we or when we beat the Padres. We'll be a team that will be hard to win too. Let's go Dodgers!
