Manufacturing and Foreign Capital are leaving/Foreign companies directly employ 45 million Chinese

Although it's not usually easy to relocate a business, in recent years a trend is forming for foreign companies to move out of China.
Some U.S. companies have already started it after the U.S.-China trade war broke out in 2016. Now Korea and Japan, as well as some European countries, are joining the action.
The Chinese Communist Party or CCP denied this trend on several occasions in August 2021, even calling it a rumor.

CCP kicks you out yet the workers blame the company. Sounds about right.

Until the CCP starts respecting foreign intellectual property and stops unilaterally terminating business agreements after acquiring knowledge to produce foreign-developed proprietary technologies, I don't see this trend reversing. If foreign companies can't reliably profit from selling their products to Chinese customers because those customers end up being served by domestic companies operating on stolen intellectual property, then the only reason foreign companies would bother to do business in China would be to use Chinese manufacturing capacity. But China is no longer the least expensive source of skilled labor in the world, so now there is no reason at all for foreign companies to do business in China. Their loss.

The CCP is like that kid in school who would just lie about everything and then get really mad when you call them out.

the reason behind foreign IT companies leaving is that over 90% of contracts within China are being awarded to local companies. Foreign companies win few if any contracts when it comes to national infrastructure. So when the Chinese get upset when foreign countries now openly block supply tenders from Chinese based companies, they only have themselves to blame. Then add in that it is now cheaper to manufacture in a more open Vietnam and you have all the reasons needed by any company to leave.

Having 1.5 billion people in the country is a huge advantage… unless you can’t afford to keep them happy. The CCP should be making friends with the demographic crisis on the horizon. Not making more enemies.

This is good news. Let's hope that more and more countries/companies will realize they should not be investing anything into China. Yes, China does have a huge consumer market but what risks are you willing to take to be in that market? It's just not worth it in the long run.

All I can say is that, I work for a south Korean conglomerate in South Korea. And we have stores and factories in China. But it's been couple years already that we aren't further developing in china nor opening new stores...
The main reasons are that the CPC is always making up new rules and regulations that forces us to invest more and more . So, our CEO decided. Let our Chinese partner handle it before we invest anything more.

China was expected to become the largest economy in the world during this decade. It's beginning to look like that might not happen if the CCP keeps its current course. All western countries have to do to stop it from happening is pull investment out of China and stop buying Chinese goods. Their entire economy depends on global trade. Pakistan, Afghanistan, and other poor countries won't be able to keep the Chinese economy afloat, much less growing.

Companies setting up shop in China have generally faced the following serious issues: the theft of intellectual property and manufacturing processes, the inability to secure a stable work force, a biased legal system and intense pressure on the pricing of their local sales, just to mention a few.

Support local produce.
Forget cheap China made products that seldom last beyond 3 years.
Buy the products of your own country.
Reduce carbon footprint, and save the earth bit by bit.

China as a country is crossing the point of no return. The internal power struggle just went front page with the evergrande issue.

Whoever recommended the wolf warrior diplomacy tactics in the past 5 years to the CCP leaders is probably very proud of himself right now.
