Learn How To Three Strand Flat Braid A Single Rope

I chain stitch pieces of "raw" candle wick and soak them in melted wax which are then used for fire starters when hiking or camping. I find this braiding method far quicker and easier than chain stitching, and believe it will result in a better fire starter based on the geometry of the stitch. I feel the presentation was clear and concise and didn't have any issue whatsoever in following his instruction. I have bought a very long spool of thread (little thicker than the usual) with the intention to have an endless amount of thread that can make a lot of stuff including.. ropes!
The project haven't gone through serious tests cause i'm still learning stuff like in this video.

thanks for this video I just finished doing 30 ft rope so I can climb it for PT the hard part is setti g it up and untangli g the bottom ever 4 inches or so lol but it looks awesome couldnt have done it without this video

I just cut three pieces of hemp twine and braided it like a woman's hair and made a nice string from my kids bow. My son said he likes it better than the original string. I might look for a 4-string braid just in case it breaks and keep it as backup. If it's possible.
