Its significantly exceeded expectations considering that CW and vice were chosen to make this.

I think that you’ll get more drama when they do the episode featuring Grosjean. Rossi even said the producers asked him about Mid- Ohio last year and he shared more than he had previously since he doesn’t race for AA any more.

It exceeded my personal expectations, as it's top quality production, and was very real. Having the bus bros with the shit-sucker behind while they were filming bus bros was legit. I think they've given it their best with this.

I actually really liked it. They didn’t over dramatize the race. They showed what actually happened and didn’t use clips or radio comms from other races. I waited for the show to come out on the app so I wonder how many other people did the same.

Everyone keeps saying DTS is what made F1 gain ground in America, but I think codemasters and the F1 video game has done more to add fans than DTS has. Too bad IndyCar choose to sign a deal with a bunch of crooks to make a video game.

I really enjoyed the show. It had some behind the scenes stuff and a lot of action on track. It is great to have this additional content. I hope this helps the series get some traction in terms of viewership and ticket holders. Regardless, as a long time fan of IndyCar I really enjoyed this and can't wait for episode 2!

8/10, pretty good and I'm looking forward to the next episodes. I think this is going to be more of a scrapbook show for the season than a dramatic docuseries. Nothing wrong with that, it has its own merit.

Quick Take: series needed to spend S1E1 on framing up what INDYCAR IS... kind of sad but I think it was balanced to provide backstory.. and can move forward from there on developing more behind the scenes and driver stories. 8/10, which is slightly above expectation for the show

Show is well made so hoping it gets better and better. I recorded it and watched after the draft. Not sure if recording things hurts the advertising revenue cuz I sure as hell fast forward those commercials.

Commercials were driving me crazy, also kinda cool it will only be a couple weeks behind the season. More of a in real time feel is much better then a full season recap.

Streamed it today. Thought it was pretty good. Nice that it's following the current season.

I was happy to see the show. It was good for my wife. She knows the names but this kind of thing is good for her. The kids, the wives, the families, the backgrounds...the chicks love that stuff. It was similar to when the Colts were on Hard Knocks. She watched the games and knew the names but seeing their real lives and backgrounds made her actually enjoy the games more. I believe she is going to enjoy the 500 more this year because of the show. 👍

re: a villain. The movie Grand Prix had no human villain. The villain was the danger of the sport itself. Of course, things aren't near as deadly as they once were, but danger has not gone away from top level motorsport.

Grosjean has never really come across as a villain for me. There's not really an IndyCar driver right now that I can call a straight-up villain. I thought the first episode was great and I'm someone who has only watched IndyCar since 2017. There is enough drama to promote a Ganassi-McLaren rivalry especially off-track last year. I feel like with the Indy 500, 2022 was the only year so far where it was legit but with the blows traded between them this year supports your argument. But I'm waiting to see who's competitive for this year's Indy 500

It was a good show. Very nicely filmed. I liked it! I’m a long time Indycar fan and I think it had enough for the hardcore fan and was not too much “Indycar 101”.

Too many commercials just like the actual race broadcasts. 😂 Seems to be Indy Car's MO.

Just record it and fast forward through all of the commercials is the best way to watch this.

I recall an article in The Race said that 100 Days To Indy were more in-depth with the drivers, such as Newgarden (and his family and his life) in comparison with DTS.

Its a shame that anyone outside of the US cant see this show.

I am a NASCAR fan who is trying to get into IndyCar, and it was good at giving me drivers to cheer for. I am looking forward to finishing the series, and I hope it continues to be as good as it's been so far.
