Nelson is one of the best operators that I've ever seen. You guys are fortunate to have a man like Nelson! Nelson should have his own youtube channel.

Nelson is like a surgeon with the bucket... getting behind the box precisely without damaging the pipes and hoses. Great job! Your castle looks amazing! Thanks for taking us along on your adventure ❤

Great to see Nelson back. I wonder if your workmen team know how much so many people who watch your channel respect they great work they do. Plus you both have a wonderful way of connecting with them. You are a wonderful sincere couple.❤

The topsoil Nelson dug up was glorious. And by the looks of all the foliage growing around the water mill, you’re gonna be able to grow a lot of food. I’ve been gardening & canning since my early 20s, so over 30 years. When you’re ready to start preserving food. (Dehydrating & canning) I’m here to help. I’d be planting a full orchard on one of the terraces. You have the water tanks up there, you could set up drip lines for miles. Green healthy trees don’t burn as easily.

Now that’s a weeks worth of work and a lot of rock. So glad you could address this drain situation before anymore completion occurred. Saved yourself a lot of money and time and reconstruction. Thankful for Nelson!! Much love many blessings!!!

Sometimes I think back to when you were looking at this property and remember thinking I had no idea what your vision was because I sure couldn't see one. What you have done to this land and mill is just amazing. Been a lot of hard work but I never would have even seen this vision so major kudos to you for seeing it. Thanks for taking us along.

As you know, water will find its way into the smallest openings, By the time you read this, the job will probably be done, but I'm wondering if you are going to put smaller rocks and then sand on top of the granite to give it stability. If not, the clay soil will eventually fill in those spaces and defeat the draining of the ground water. Good luck guys. The only thing wrong with this episode is it's too short and I didn't even get to drink my coffee before it was finished. Much love to both of you and keep up your amazing transition of the beautiful watermill.

This delicate but thorough approach will ensure safe water passage in years to come - hopefully, for decades. Well worth the hours of labour.

It's interesting to see how different places do things. Here in the UK I think our building regs would require some sort of moisture fabric or insulation board on the outside wall and around the trench and 10mm peashingle instead of rocks that big.

Fingers crossed this corrects the problem. So much to do, so much to learn.❤

When it comes to water and dwellings, number one thing is to get it away from the building. I prefer to use schedule 40, less chance of collapse. I like how you went over and above to make sure it was done right.
