Frontier Nursing University graduates are providing significant contributions to improving maternity care particularly in underserved and rural areas across the United States. Their stories of success are inspiring nurses every day to pursue their calling and join in making a difference in their community as nurse-midwives and nurse practitioners. This program highlights the work Frontier graduates are answering the call.
‘Partnersin Care’ In the second year of a unique communications partnership, the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) and ITN Productions have produced a news and current affairs-style program designed to show how today's women's health, obstetric and neonatal nurses partner with other medical professionals, parents, communities, hospitals, universities, nonprofits and like-minded industry companies to improve care for women and newborns. ‘Partners in Care’ is an in-depth, online program featuring interviews, news items and sponsored editorial profiles of leaders and key organizations, showcasing the hard work that takes place every day, improving the effectiveness and professionalism of women’s health, obstetric and neonatal nurses and the quality of care for women and newborns. The program will be shown at the 2018 Convention on June 23rd – 27th, 2018 in Tampa, FL.
