I have 3 cache crates, including the one that was unboxed. I need to get out and hide a few more. Right now I am focused on find more than I did last year and I am 50% of the way of doing so and only 1.5 months in. Seriously though, everything in the cache crate is useful to a Geocacher and if not yourself, gift the item to another cacher. Great hide btw.

Haven't seen one of those geogems in a while. One I have is a clear diamond. I dropped it in a cache in NV in 2011, and it was picked up shortly thereafter. It moved a little for about a year. Then the gem went missing for five years! The cacher that had it all that time (he found it again in a box) put it back out there. He was nice enough to mail it back to me a little later. It was really cool to get it back after assuming it had been lost.

I wish youd demonstrate how to replace a micro or tiny log. Too often I find logs all matched up in the cache instead of rolled in the lid. Also on the small logs it's nice when they glue a toothpick to it so you can easily pull out the light and swiftly roll it tight.

Are you growing a mustache, or is that dirt on your upper lip? lol I do like the bolt caches. I actually found a rusted one once that required me to use a wrench to open up.
