This is fulll contact fighting and Ank unanimously won. The judges were accurate and AP couldnt really get throough the Russians defense. Lets just call it a master performance to guy that puts every opponent to sleep. Respect to both fighters but in my eyes as a neutral fan. The Russian did enough to get a unanimous decision.👍👍⬆️

It actually disgusting calling it a robbery. Ankalaev moved forward and pressured Perreira and even hurting him.

Ankalaev won fair and square, and was the more hungry fighter. Perreira's leg kicks were alost nullified from round 2 onwards, which is usually his main weapon. Kinda hard to throw impactfull leg kicks when retreating backwards.

Ankalaev deserved the win, he addapted with forward pressure. He won fair and square...i would say it's because of an higher fight IQ and ability to adapt by Ankalaev.

Credit to Peirrera for defending all the takedowns....but he still lost fair and square

I'm Brazilian and a fan of Alex Pereira, but although I dislike the hugging tactics, by current rules Ankalaev won fair and square. Pereira was too passive, Ank controlled the fight and had the best exchance.
