Awesome video man... I've done a couple of the fuel pump software updates on some a3's and I've noticed it changing the fuel range to empty by 30 to 40km after the update, doesn't look good customers getting there car back with a 0km to empty warning on their dash lol

Lol, that was the issued I asked you about a month ago. I am the guy who works at Hertz. We had 3-4 cars had this happen when I talked to you. We are up to 7 now. My boss is going to poop himself knowing we may have to down all the Passats we have. Chrysler and Nissan is already killing us in safety recalls that require safety stop cars with "unknown" resolutions.

i know mine qualifies for the whole "good will program" I got a letter from my dealership and a call about lest now I can get my broken ABS harness fixed.

Any info on the TSI HPFP warranty extension? We had to have our replaced on our Tiguan at 50K (out of warranty) and was wondering if we could seek reimbursement. Made me mad it wasn't covered under the powertrain warranty at the time, otherwise I would of had it towed home rather than farther to the dealer. Thanks! Drinking a Backwoods Bastard right now!

+HumbleMechanic You forgot to mention the 800, 000 4 cyl motor cars affected by CO2 emissions level failure. VW is in some serious trouble. All of these issues could really affect them pretty hard financially. I hope they survive, but its going to be interesting to see how far this rabbit hole goes.

im pretty sure if you accept the $500 it nullifies and legal action you can take towards vw.

HumbleMechanic, i have a 2012 gti with the ARP stage 1 ecu tune. Should i be concerned about the low fuel pressure issue? Im at 60k and have not had any problems. Also, did you ever get to look into the driver seat issue i talked to you about a few weeks ago? Where the right side of the back of the drivers seat moves forward and back about an inch when the left side is stationary. Its almost like the right hinge is somehow broken and moves on hard acceleration and braking. Do you think the seat can break if i get into an accident? That would be bad.

Hey! So I’ve been having issues with p0087, did a load of mechanical changed and went back to stock, and the code still shows. Turns out I’m on “0050” and previously was on “0040” is the “0050” update the one you’re on about for this fueling issue?

hi charles i have a 2015 gli ive had since april 2015 has 9200 miles would it be smart to have the dealer look to see if the camshaft part that breaks is wearing out to prevent this happening to me ?

hi man! i have an issue, i have a 2005 tdi jetta with the tiptronic transmission but it started to fail, i've done the service but still not working propertly, my question is? if i do the conversion to manuan transmission what kind of standar trans i need, i've heard that the vr6 or the 24V can do the job but honestly i don't have any idea what transmission should i put in the tdi. i need some serious advice and help, thx!
