I love to snorkel. But if the conditions are not perfect, traditional snorkels can be a pain in the neck. Swells coming into the spout at the air in-take and of course of you dove down, you have to not breathe, which although logical, is a fact. And when you surface, you have to blow really hard to clear the air pipe again of the snorkel.

Enter EasyBreath from Subea. My wife and saw a commercial on Dutch TV for this, just before summer. What a smart marketing move from #Decathlon, I though and for such a reasonable price of 30 Euro it had to be just that, smart marketing. Could never work as well as they advertised… We bought three, so that if it was a hit, everyone could snorkel.
We were not disappointed! The Subea Snokelmaster Easybreath works like a breeze! It does feel a bit strange, at first, but you quickly get over that. You can then spend hours of uninterrupted viewing of fish, snorkelling and diving without blowing out water or almost choking to death. The inside of the mask snorkel combination also never really fogged up. Got a bit dirty once, but that was easily cleaned. You should rinse with fresh water after use of course!
One note on diving. You can dive down and what is cool, if you breathe, nothing happens! No water comes in. Also no air, so it does not help much. But that was neat. And when you surface, no blowing out to clear the snorkel neck. You can just breath again with zero of very little water coming in. Amazing!

We would really recommend this new innovation from Subea, offered via Decathlon. Was a lot of fun and I already logged hours of use in just the first two weeks owning them!
