Ukraine War: President Zelenskyy calls for a 'jet coalition' ahead of Kiev's spring offensive

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed he and Rishi Sunak discussed the UK providing fighter jets in talks at Chequers.

The Ukrainian president said he wanted to create a "jets coalition", but the UK government has "no plans" to send fighter jets to Ukraine, the Prime Minister's spokesman said.

It comes after the Ukrainian military indicated it would prefer to use F-16 fighter jets.

Once the pilot training gets started, no doubt the jet fighters will follow. Almost sure there is a west coalition which already has jet fighters prepared as we speak. I very much doubt F16s, maybe upgraded Typhoons, Mirages...who knows.

As a U.S. citizen, I rightfully chastise my government for the military budget as it takes away money that could be used for other things like free Healthcare, social services, and fixing the homelessness issue.

But in this case, I fully support our government if they plan to share some of our arsenal of democracy with Ukraine. They are asking for our help, and we have the moral responsibility and means to do so.

F16s will take time to train their crews. At present, it takes approximately two years to move F-16 pilots from the simulator to mastery of the F-16s itself. Saab JAS 39 Gripen be better choice.

EU countries must come together and devise a plan for training the pilots, ground crew and helping with the supply issues. The Pootin's war is a test for the whole democratic world to see if we can stand our ground and help those who's freedom is in danger.
This should be a worldwide thing not only Ukraine and America
