Namibia was a German colony until 1915, and has a large amount of German influence, with names like Adolf being popular. Additionally, in Africa, Hitler is not as well known as in the west, and Namibian Hitler (Adolf Hitler Uunona) said that while his father named him after Adolf Hitler, he didn’t know who he was or what he was known for.

For Sri Lankan Stalin, his father was a member of the Sri Lankan communist party, and named him after the Soviet Dictator.
