FOX45 continues to dig deeper into new crime data from the Baltimore City Police Department, detailing soaring crime rates in neighborhoods across the city.

The new data is being brought to light at a time when city leaders continue to tout a city-wide reduction in homicides and shootings. However, according to BPD’s report, from 2022 to 2023, violent crime climbed significantly in Roland Park and Waverly.

I grew up off north avenue. That’s why I know longer live in Baltimore city.
Roland Park residents never understood how bad it was for the rest of us. They lived in their own bubble with their own special police force that shows up immediately whenever they are called. In my neighborhood, the cops only showed up when there was shooting because they were understaffed and burned out.
