You all are really good at talking, but let’s see some action this time! I am sick of going through long episodes of either freezing, or sweating after every weather event in this city. I live in Houston proper, and the reliability of power is questionable. And the Dems want an electric city? We need to get back to basics here!

Oh yay. So Centerpointless has promised to try and do what they promised to do in 2008??

Part of the solution is easy and should have been done years ago. All communities that have so called cooling centers should be fitted with emergency power. That way when the storm passes all one has to do is flip a switch. We have highschools that look like resorts. They have kitchens. Make sure when they build them they have back up power. Our people shouldn't have to wait days for facility support

Anyone reading this if you mess up big time on your job you're gone 🙅‍♀️ center point causes deaths and they get a meeting?? Huh cause they have billions they get a do over. Center point should be fired. I guess if you have billions the rules are different. They must of paid a couple of people off cause this is not adding up!!

We give federal dollars, except for the federal dollars we denied CenterPoint a year ago to strengthen the grid. Otherwise we have the high ground.

@16:33 All Texans under ERCOT pays a base charge to CenterPoint, regardless of electric company because they have a legal monopoly to maintain the lines, Texans shouldn't be considered customers. These are OUR power lines, It is OUR electricity that CenterPoint failed to maintain and our government bodies that regulate them.

What are they doing with all of these fees they get from us on these light bills, (distribution fees etc). They need to provide everyone with built in generators in their homes, something!!
