A hit in LA 1963. Then another Lennon McCartney hit in the summer 1963 by Del Shannon "From Me to You". . This set the stage for the Beatles "Invasion" early 1964. And the world has still not recovered.

DO YOU WANT TO KNOW A SECRET pieseň skupiny BILLY J: AND THE THE DAKOTAS bola v UK rebríčku 15 týždňov od 2. mája 1963 a obsadila 2.m. za piesňou Beatles From Me To You. Autormi piesne boli Lennon a MacCartney a skupina ju nahrala na album Please Please Me. Skupina prostredníctvom Georga Martina uzatvorila zmluvu s Parlophone.

The Beatles' own version was released as a single in the U.S. and also peaked at #2 in 1964 - behind Louis Armstrong's version of "Hello Dolly."
