The wattersons are quite literally one of the strongest cartoon families to exist. Nicole has super projection/penance stare/etc. while Richard can easily destroy the universe by getting a job, Darwin can level entire blocks by sneezing, Gumball is the main character, and Anais has her mother's strength and martial arts skills.

Tbh, I always saw my own mother in Nicole. Smart, ambitious, hardworking, a bit angry but still loves me unconditionally. I think the show surprisingly did a great job with portraying a realistic mother figure.
