This worked, Thanks! REASON: I DJ on an older MBAir, with all my music on an external hard drive, in iTunes. So when I switched to Catalina all of my linked song files were not being seen by my DJ program. Hense... iTunes. There might be a better way, but this works for now.

i find it hard to have more and better options removed from my devices and call it an "upgrade", especially when its impacts my privacy, security and control over my data. and i hate being forced to go over all my settings every time there is a system OS upgrade, to close sessions and toggle off sharing options (AGAIN) in every bloatware app they keep forcing users to live with. but hey, that's just me :)

I did the install on my Pro M3 and it didn’t work due to my software version. How do I change my security settings back to the highest level because it’s saying my settings have been modified on certain apps and they are disabled

Thanks for the video but I would appreciate it if you stopped saying those comments about itunes. Some of us have iPods which can be better handled with iTunes as opposed to apple music. I literally can't do shit on apple music with my ipod its trash.

I had this working fine using Retroactive with Monterey and iTunes 11.4. But after upgrading the OS to Sonoma I have lost the ability to load my iPod Shuffles. You know, with iTunes on my M1 Mac Mini it FINALLY worked the way I only ever imagined it could. Now it's gone again. I'm meant to replace it's functionality with Apple Podcasts and Music and Finder sync?!! Should I get a PC just to run iTunes FFS?

I finally invested in a new computer and now have an M1 pro and monteray. But it has a silicon chip. Itunes won’t work with the silicon chip I have tried several itunes. Itunes 10 is the only one that when downloaded would open. But when opened you can’t log in or use any thing as the links in the program don’t function. Can you help?

When I open this software the three main categories are greyed out and I can't get to itunes. It shows a bnch of "unlock" and "fix" for final cut pro 7, logic pro 9, etc. But can't get to itunes. Of course I am running Mojave which already supports itunes 12. But I am trying to find a way to install itunes 7. Any thoughts?

Silly question, but is it possible to have iTunes and Apple Music at the same time? I vastly prefer the organization of iTunes but want to keep Apple Music for downloading music that doesn’t get a cd release.

Amazing!! Bro it installed. I had failed to install it multiple times from the ones got from App Store. However on the last step, where it says enable full disk access, that option dint pop up on my MacBook Air M1 2020, Does it change anything?.
