The time has come to put an end to *dynastic politics* because it encourages the notion of *post-colonial subjugation of Indian masses* to a superior person or group of persons/family. India is a *DEMOCRACY.* It is not a *Communist country turning Facist.* Neither is it a *Monarchy* where *Prince grows up to become a King.* In a *Democracy* no individual is above the other and *equality in opportunity* is available to all irrespective of their *family tree.*
On *15th January 1941* the fact that *Gandhiji chose Jawaharlal Nehru as his successor* before the AICC signifies that Gandhiji was himself against dynastic politics. A good leader chooses a successor on the basis of merits, as did Gandhiji. He would not have in any way given consent to *selling off his name* in future for the political gains of *one family* in the country. *He would have wanted Congress to choose a leader fit to lead the country.*
I congratulate *WION* for unveiling the truth of our forefathers and their true descendants. I am truly humbled by the way the descendants of the greatest Indian leaders are leading their lives. I see a sharp contrast between them and *the pretenders.*
