How's about the ZigBee gateway before M1S? Still able to communicate with Matter?

Zigbee's motto was to do the same thing, however many products don't have compatibility with different manufacturers. Why is matter going to be different?

This is actually a great solution! 'Matter' is the missing link so you don't need to choose and just connect anything you would love to buy.

It would be great if there comes a 'matter' control panel (Display + UI) to operate everything :)

If Matter integration is only used between hubs, we stay at the same point. All "Matter Capable" marked devices should be able to connect to any "Matter Capable" hub, no matter (xD) who manufactured it. If manufacturers idea is to make their devices dependant on THEIR hub, we have gone nowhere with all this thing.
