Orthodox monks expelled from Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra monastery refuse to leave

It's the same thing that happened in Montenegro in the beginning of 2020. Montenego government wanted to occupy Serbian Orthodox curches and pronounce tham as Montenegros legacy, but instead the Churches ware older than Montenegro county it self. There ware massive protests, so called "литија" that overthrow the government and preserved churches as Serbian Orthodox Church legacy. The same people (read west) are standing behind this in Ukraine. The only difference is that in Ukrain thay are using the war as opportunity to try to put hated on Russian Orthodox Church. My God help you faithful people, in the name of The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

This has been happening for a long time. Moscow Patriarchate Orthodox Churches has been suppressed by the Ukrainian government for years. They even created a new church that is one-sided (without council) & isn't canonical.
A good friend of mine had his priest detained for days by the police just because he was a priest in Moscow Patriarchate in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church as a legal entity is actually older than Independent Ukraine! Of course the history of Rus-Modern day Russia and Ukraine began in Kiev with prince Vladimir. Attempts to change that are simply not honest and an affront to this historic culture. If Ukraine wants to call itself a democracy, they have to defend believers rights. Otherwise they are just Soviet with another name!

It's a sad day for Christians all over the world as we are being persecuted. Whatever our denomination we are all Christians first so any persecution of the Orthodox monks and priests is a persecution against me. All should stand together against this evil tyranny. ❤️🇬🇧
