Thank you for your review of this film. Such a great chance of pace from a lot of recent films. On a personal note love the dress makes a change to see somebody making the effect to be smart to present a review.

A bit late, but oh well. I liked the visuals (except for some weird blurry shots), the vibe, the research behind the movie and how it felt like a unique movie, but I didn't personally like it as a whole. My problem was mainly the pacing, not because it was slow, but because it was too intense. I felt like I watched hours of flashback-scenes, and that they lacked pauses where we could stop and think. I think it also has to do with having too much dialogue, where more was said than needed. Many problems were fixed too quickly, like how Jean's death was never mentioned after Oppenheimer was told to just "suck it up". I think they focused on too many aspects, instead of diving deep into a few. I was hoping for a deeper emphasis on how it is to carry this burden of creating the nuclear bomb, and how it is too late once it was made (since others took over his work and made him look like a communist). So I wasn't interested in the whole Strauss plot and wished they went over that part way more briefly.

It was still refreshing compared to what else we've gotten, but I guess not everyone has to agree on this movie. Among my friends, I'm definitely the most critical one.

I find recent action films boring and find myself zoning out with the constant action. This film had me on the edge of my seat for 3 hours and I’m still thinking about it after 2 showings and 2 weeks later.

woohooo :D :D this will be good, im curious to hear you speak Slovenian with Alexander Meowington.... a friend of mine went to go see it and said "no spoilers" im like how can there be any spoilers lol o.O my friend isnt into history ... I didnt watch the movie and probably wont but thats mostly because International Relations and History is my field so theres no real need to... I am glad it came out though because the YT algorithm is now suggesting this material to others and it brings up the debate of American crimes against humanity, so hopefully people learn from it and I can stop arguing against the bombings at uni :)

I think the nudity makes me think they didn't have enough to hold audiences without it. Sad.

Is it just a coincidence that Oppenheimer was surrounded by 18 physicists, while Donald Trump was surrounded by 18 codefendants, hmmmm? I think not!
