Sir, won't it be v=ucostheta ?? How's it coming u=vcostheta?? In traingle, with u as hypotenuse and v as side opposite to it, and theta as angle between them, cos theta should be opp side divided by hypotenuse which is cos theta = v / u and so v =ucostheta??
