Beekeepers are often forgotten when discussing farmers. Beekeepers are essential for all the food we eat. Beekeepers don't just provide honey, they provide pollination for 75% of all the fruits, nuts, and vegetables we eat in the U.S.. Everything from almonds, to blueberries, to wheat have honey bees to thank for their pollination. We visited a beekeeper in South Dakota, Jasen Albrecht (Albrecht's Angel Honey Farm & Vineyard Winery) to see his industrial extractors, learn about the history of Albrecht's Honey Farms and talk about challenges facing commercial beekeeping.

Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more beekeeping wisdom and bee-friendly content. Happy beekeeping!
