I believe it was Telogen Effluvium he had and that's why he lost his hair permanently. Typhoid is only temporary. Also, he had Diabetes type 2 and that is why he lost his leg from gangrene. These were not known then.

Had a good appetite. ?! They had all food possible every day by TON'S and eaten until they just could get it down.... than they used a special 'stick' that they put it down on the through for to through up for to be able to continue to eat...! GOD APETITE ?!
