There is a beauty to Gragas. He isn't pretty, he isn't a lore perfect champion, however, the uniqueness and simplicity of Gragas is what makes him special. I'd hate to see a rework for him. If only, id ask them to update his model to the one on wild rift.

If they rework Gragas, I would love Riot to take him to more of a demigod sort of level. In Norse mythology, the gods are actually mortal and walk between humans. Basically make him a new generation of freljordian gods, who manifested after the humans arrived for Freljord.

Maybe have him a sort of a bard like character. The Embodiment of the Freljordian Human Spirit. He's the guy who comes to the bar, pours everyone a drink, and starts collecting and telling stories next to the fireplace. He's the guy who told everyone the story of Braum. He's the guy who for a moment makes everyone forget the horrors of Freljord.

It's kinda telling that Gragas was not even an option for next year's champion visual update.

If I have to guess, I'd say right now Riot wants to give this image of itself that it only makes cute, sexy and cool characters, and they deem a Gragas redesign to be neither cute nor sexy nor cool.
