It's basically just a extreme modernization program for the Viper the Apache got there's already upgraded so the Viper was bound to get theirs modernized as well it's just keeping our military up-to-date with modern technology and extending the life of the aircraft

While we have the baddest weapons in the world, the government invests BILLIONS yearly in weapons and only millions in veteran care. It would only take 10% of a yearly weapons budget to care for our wounded veterans. But, the VA request for the 2025 budget is $369.3 billion, a $32.9 billion (+9.8%) increase above the 2024 Estimate level. The percentage for FY 2023 budget givento the VA was only 3.5%. Seem pretty low for the number of veterans needing care.

Hmm. The agreement between the Army and the Air Force since the 50s was that the Army would stay out of the Close Air Support (CAS) fixed wing business and the Air Force would stay out of the Attack Helicopter business. I wonder if the Army will acquire the A-10, now that the Air Force wants to retire it. . . .

This is a slow moving helicopter that can be shot out of the sky easy. The Raider X is the only way to go for attack helicopter.
