This theme conveys emotions of terror, hopelessness and sorrow. It hits harder when you realize the ape devoured the sculptor's partner. The second phase is more terrifying because if the the sculptors partner survived to this point terror wpuld have killed her instead

this song is so amazing. Hints of heroism, reflecting that we are bravely fighting some monstrous creature four times our size, but still major themes of terror, reflecting the horror that is the guardian ape (especially what is inside of it)
