"Kulturminne" is directly translated into cultural memory.Kulturminner is the visible memories of the past. They represent Norway's common heritage and are irreplaceable sources of knowledge and experiences. They range anywhere from buildings and houses to burial mounds to piles of rocks cleared from arable lands and are a great way of getting to know Norway's cultural history.
