Thousands of Arizona workers owed millions in back pay

Thousands of workers in Arizona are owed back pay for hours they already worked, but the clock is ticking to claim the money.

I worked in an AIDS facility in Phoenix that we kept running out of money. So many times we didn't get paid or partial payment. In 1993 the facility closed and we were let go once we were able to place our 35 patients. We stayed on, paid or not, be believed in what we did.

I work for Pima County and they are actually taking money back from me saying I was classified wrong. It was their mistake, and it took them a year to figure out their mistake. I know have to pay back $200 a paycheck for 15 months on top of them lowering my pay.

What about the people (like me) wrongfully fired for tryin to get their owner company to fix the issues we had i.e- improper ppe, no bio/chem showers, eyewash station with scalpels and pacemakers among other issues that get ignored and brushed under the rug or the investigation with local M.E office
