{: I think this is understandable of what paul is saying right now, god knows what will happen to us and he doesn't want the troubles to happen, god is wants to see how we deal with the situation cause he wants to know if you can trust god and remember "God is the living god that will save us from death and will help us through our lives." So the lesson is yes its okay to not be happy for what has happened, but we need to trust in god no matter what situation we go through in life cause he has a way to fix it. :}

Just words, Paul, just words. She is a little girl who is scared for her mother. She just wants her mother to be well. She wants a miracle from God, just like many others received from Jesus, not words!! She KNOWS Jesus has the power to change bad things when they happen. She does not understand why He has not used His power to intervene. She is frightened and confused. I am 70 years old and I feel the same as Joy.
