Welcome to the Martial Arts Journey YouTube channel!

My name is Rokas. I'm a Lithuanian guy who trained Aikido for 14 years, 7 of them running a professional Aikido Dojo until eventually I realized that Aikido does not live up to what it promises.

Lead by this realization I decided to make a daring step to close my Aikido Dojo and move to Portland, Oregon for six months to start training MMA at the famous Straight Blast Gym Headquarters under head coach Matt Thornton.

After six months intensive training I had my first amateur MMA fight after which I moved back to Lithuania. During all of this time I am documenting my experience through my YouTube channel called "Martial Arts Journey".

Now I am slowly setting up plans to continue training MMA under quality guidance and getting ready for my next MMA fight as I further document and share my journey and discoveries.

Rokas - so sorry to hear about what happened with your channel. What happened could have happened to anyone. Your channel is an inspiration and the way you dealt with what happened is a credit to you. The loss of comments is a pain but so great that the videos are still there. Please keep posting!

Don't worry it can happen to anyone, remember to keep your cyber self-defense sharp. I remember questioning my Gracie Jiu-jitsu school during the time you were comming out of your Aikido assurance. Luckily my school actually did punch defense, boxing and no gi. It's a really really good school probobly the best self defense style. Yet I did scan it hard and actually found flaws in it. Your videos have been important. It's about opening your mind.

That was a classic social engineering attack. You need to set up a virtual machine or a sandboxed machine and do your correspondence in there. Anything happens it’s all contained within that, if the OS craps out you can just blow the PC away and be safe. Never ever click on or open stuff without antivirus and proper safeguards in place.

As ex IT person, get a VM for this sort of thing. You can get free one that does the job.
Always check emails and unknown files in a VM, don't link the VM to anything that's important.
Another thing, use something like Linux or free BSD to check those things. Majority of hack targets windows.
