Kingdom come is my favorite comic of all time, not only that the art & story was great but it was both a love message to the golden age of heroes and a message of criticism to the state of the comic book industry back in the 90s

I think he is Kingdom Come Superman.

It is self insert. Really cool drawings as always.

Edit: just found out he actually self inserted himself in every male member of the Justice League, those chin and noses are very suspiciously similar. This happens when you actually use yourself as a basis, either intentional or unintentional. Faces will either look the same or will look like you.

I think he uses the gouache with more water than the paint needs. His paintings look like watercolor use less water. If he uses gouache there must be with too much water than normally. Also his colours does not seem opaque as gouache. Anyway he’s awesome!
