Stacking vs numismatics. Nothing wrong with either one. They are different goals. You can stack, you can collect numismatic, and you can do both. Just need to decide your goal.

As someone who is more of a collector than a stacker I really appreciate this video, helps keep numi's down in price not having to compete with stackers for them.

Good job differentiating between Stacking and Collecting. Also I liked you explaining the mental gymnastics you go through to make yourself feel better about paying the price for a collectible. You're just like the rest of us as we have the "stacking" knowledge, but we also have the "I want it" bug regarding our collecting. Thumbs up.

A better comparison would be selling it on Ebay and backing out sellers fees. For a $50 item with $10 shipping fee, you're gonna pay about $8.50 in ebay fees. So the coin store prices aren't terrible.

This silver channel is head and shoulders above any other channel. If you want to learn and you want the straight facts without loads of hyperbole, this the place to be. I'm not affiliated or in the business. I'm just a stacker.

Slabbed coins are so much easier to sell on eBay whereas raw coinage has to many issues and restrictions on grade level when selling sovereign coins on eBay.

Counterfeit bullion is a growing problem, thus buying certified slabs can help lower the risk, especially if you stack gold. Sleeker did point out that value of key dates and grades, however “Stacking” is not a quick turn and burn investment to flip for profit or to breakeven. I’ve been stacking for 20+ years and I use it has a as a long term investment strategy to hedge against continual inflation and as an emergency fund. The video has great info to help you make the best decision when it comes to developing and maintaining your “stacking” strategy. In summary…just keep on stacking!!! Stack silver, gold, crypto, food, and ammo! Just keep stacking!!! 👊

The worst silver to stack is fake silver... That's why I only buy from Temu

This was incredibly insightful! 🔥 The breakdown of premiums, buy/sell spreads, and real-world examples really puts things into perspective. It’s eye-opening to see how much value can be lost when stacking the wrong way. The tip about balancing collectible purchases with lower-premium silver is genius—it’s all about maximizing ounces! 🏆 Thanks for sharing such valuable knowledge—this will definitely help a lot of stackers make smarter decisions. 💰👏

You're right, there is a big difference between stacking and collecting. There's nothing wrong with collecting, I do it myself, but every stacker should know that there's a difference between the two and expect to get less back if you sell collectables. Thanks, Seeker!

I collected a little and stacked a lot. That was in 2010 through 2019, when I met my silver stacking goal, so have bought very little silver since then. Still
stacking gold, though, because I haven't met my gold stacking goal. Today's high gold prices are not helping with this but I still buy a little from time to time.

The only silver coins I would slab now are CC Morgans from around 1880 and then only if they were in really nice condition. I did buy some slabbed MS-70
first strike Eagles back in 2017 but those are part of my collection and not something I really want to sell.

Im new at stacking, only have 55 oz silver between ase, rounds, maples and junk silver. 1 high premium purchase I DID make way at the beginning was a slabed 2024 NGC MS 70 ASE Star Privy. Paid $105 for it. Got lured by finding out it's the 1st year they were made, with "low" mintage of 500, 000

I agree the slabbed Eagles are a bad investment for a true stacker.

This bullion run is messing with Many years of collecting I agree don't purchase high dollar slabbed common dates 👍 but key dates and such can be worth a mint, . Gotta be careful getting rid of coins for bullion that opens the door for ppl and dealers to get all the mint and keydate coins and some vintage bars can be worth a lot also. Great video 👊😎

That was pretty sound advice. My personal collection only has a few silver proof sets consisting of sentimental dates such as birthdays and anniversaries for family. And the rest are the usual key dates and errors that are raw and graded mixes. But in my stack I stick to the ground on pricing, and I go as low as the seller will go and I encourage the seller with volume buying. The two types of collecting are both worthy pursuits and the beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say. If I bought all my silver as a numismatist I be upside down. :-)

slabbed silver is a pawn shop's best $ maker, try selling it back tho, it's worth spot at best
