In the greek original myth, Zagreus is the God of Hunting, Rebirth, and Mysteries..

It is interesting that SuperGiant managed to find a god that is totally relevant with the rogue-like concept...

The funniest thing about Dionysus asking Zag to prank Orpheus is how, if my memory of a version of mythology serves me right, a bunch of frenzied women followers of Dionysus (the Maenads, I think?) were the ones who eventually killed off Orpheus. Man could not catch a break in his lifetime😂

This song is so beautiful...it might all be a prank but the actual song itself is just heart-wrenchingly gorgeous. Particularly "Pirsoner to his king", it makes me weep - Darren Korb's voice really does sound like a voice that moved the gods, even Hades. Magical.
