Clearing the Table Pool - With Commentary | Pool School

This video show 3 examples of me breaking and clearing the table in one visit. At the request of several subscribers I've added some commentary to talk through my thought process and how I go about the break and dish. I cover planning the order of shots as well as discussing any spin on the cue ball, positional play and developing difficult balls. Each run out is slightly different with the first being a clean and controlled clearance and then the last showing how a plan can develop and change when things don't go as intended.

The shots are carried out on a 7ft UK 8 ball table

This is all we need.
I always wanted to learn more about pool but all those youtube pool tutorials are repetitive and boring.
Nothing better than an actual game run to keep me interested.

I like this. Talking thru what you are doing AND saying when you have played a poor shot is refreshing. In tutorials you often feel it’s made to look real easy and consequently it can make you think that you will never master it coz you ain’t perfect. Usually ALL other tutorials show you nothing but perfect shots/outcomes. Like the commentary and ball visual showing spin and telling you why he is using it.10/10

This is what I did by myself everyday as a 12yr old literally as my dad was working I would do this for maybe 6-7 hours a day Makes me want to get my cue out watching you play I haven't played for a couple of years.! I miss it dearly.

Great stuff. Shows what a range of shots you need to master to clear the balls in one visit. Final clearance was fantastic particularly the penultimate pot - shows what you can do even if position is less than ideal.

Fantastic delivery of this tutorial. Pool is a puzzle wrapped up in an art form, in my humble opinion, and you've done it justice, here. I'm an intermediate to advanced player and I've learned a lot from this video, especially watching someone else's cue stroke power. I hope you do more of these tutorials. Deffo subbed. Best of luck with your channel.

Great video. Very impressed with the quality of your content. Real world stuff. The cue ball graphics are incredibly useful and the clarity of the video and your commentary are spot on. Thank you for your work. I hope you continue with this. I rarely subscribe to a channel but I've just done so with yours.

Hey Pool School, this video is really interesting and shows me how a bad break (and a good one) can be cleared up. Nice to see you clear them, but what might be also interesting is seeing some of the ones that broke down and why that happened, and what could have been done differently for it to continue. I am enjoying the channel and have learnt a lot. I have just joined a pub team, and yet to have a match, so am trying to practice as much as possible so that I don't look a complete numpty when I play!

New to pool, at 2:42 I was surprised back spin caused that to go sideways!

...also, that Supreme Winner table is wonderful. Do you use the napless speed cloth? Strachan 861 by Simonis ?
