I think it's safe to say this has the potential to be one of the best static character creators of all time now. I was already using Hero Forge for digital RPG tokens, but with the advent of kitbashing, I might actually use it to do concept work for illustrations and 3D renders, because posing in Hero Forge is SO much easier than in Blender or 3DS Max.

This is HUGE!

Getting the animation skeleton to pose the models is already an enormous win for being able to make the model look exactly how you want, but being able to add just any item and play around with the parameters is the cherry on top.

It’s the Swedish robot himself, delivering some banger tutorials.

They were merciful on our Derf this time and didn't ask him to try to sell us on the default color themes.

05:07 Rotating
The rotation axis 'football' should be absolutely familiar to anyone who has played Spore.

This looks so cool! I can't wait to test it out, this boosts so much the customization possible, and it looks really impressive!

Well done hero forge for this new setting !

3 Kobolds and the undead dude were great. The crazy nightmare monsters in the middle were amazing...

What will actually draw me, however, is if I can somehow use it to create elephant feet for my loxodon or 2-fingered hands for my minotaur. THAT will make me want to do this. What will make me really dive into this is making turtlefolk with actual shells, not just carrying shells on their back. That will make me sing praises. But, mainly because we should have had these things when the body options were brought in.

We've barely tapped the vastness of human potential.

I've been happy with the free version of HeroForge, but this might convince me to get a Pro subscription. I have a shapeshifter character that would make excellent use of the re-scaling system and several other models that could use more gear on/around them.

Finally - arrows in quivers can be the same length as the arrows in the bows!! And I don't have to sacrifice the top layer of my chest piece to have bag/backpack/hilt/quiver straps!! And some weapons that just magnetically attach can now be actually attached!!
