N45 vs N52 magnetic eddy-current braking - two identical but different strength magnets on a sloped aluminum plate. The aluminum is NOT magnetic, but when the magnets move (sliding down the plate) they create "eddy currents" which, in turn, create their own magnetic fields which *oppose* the fields of the magnets. This causes them to slow down.
