My Cyspera Cysteamine Journey

I'm still on my perfect skin journey lol I've been using the cyspera cysteamine off and on for over a year now and it's safe to say I've decided I have to have it as apart of my skincare routine. I also go on a bit of a rant about my musely spot cream experience. I do plan on trying a different formula of the musely spot cream containing hydroquinone and I will be sure to keep you all updated on how that goes.

Cysteamine

APC Cysteamine 5% cream (Cysteamine Cream®, ScientisPharma) is a skin-lightening agent used in the treatment of hyperpigmentation disorders such as melasma, postinflammatory hyperpigmentation and lentigines. It has also been used to lighten skin color overall.

Musely Ingredients

Alpha arbutin, also called Hydroquinone β-D-glucopyranoside, is a naturally occurring antioxidant and skin brightener that is naturally found in the bearberry plant. It reduces melanin formation, improving the appearance of age spots, freckles, melasma, and post-inflammatory pigmentation.

Kojic's acid primary use — and benefit — is to lighten visible sun damage, age spots, or scars. This can result in an anti-aging effect on the skin. In addition to skin-lightening effects, kojic acid also contains some antimicrobial properties.

Niacinamide supports the skin barrier (the outer surface of skin), increases its resiliency, and improves texture by making pores look smaller. It also helps balance oil production, and it's good for all skin types.

Tranexamic acid provides a powerful and specific anti-inflammatory action, inhibiting the tyrosinase synthesis (the pigment producing process) in melanocytes.
