Diving Australia's GREAT BARRIER REEF has been a dream of mine since I was a kid...

📍 The Great Barrier Reef. It's probably the most famous reef in the world, and the largest. It's not just visible from the air, but from space. Cairns is a city in Queensland, the northeast state of Australia. The Great Barrier Reef runs 1600 miles along the coast of Queensland. It's made up of millions of interconnected coral heads, forming the largest living structure made by living organisms!

Seeing George get emotional over the reef was very relatable to me, as a hobbyist who has always dreamed of those humbling sights. I’ve been to that emotional place and it is really intense. Kudos to you for showing the impact of nature.

I can’t believe coral fish 12g is traveling all over the world now compared to the start of the channel

The emotion isn't about salt aquariums or the hobby, it's about how beautiful nature is and it's so much bigger than anything we thought. This eco-system is our lifeblood for the entire earth and the reef is literally the heart of our existence. It's a lot to take in.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...George is head and shoulders above his peers with his content. His knowledge, video content, editing, genuineness, content, articulation, the ease of how well he gets along and respects the people he collaborates with and just his sheer humility and great appreciation for nature is just second to none. I was having a bit of withdrawals not having him upload in a while (haha) but his videos are always well worth the wait !! Let's talk about that dive sequence from 4:22 - the footage, the music, everything ...Wow! It coalesced into the perfect capture ! It was like something out of national geographic . I envisioned almost like a david attenborough voice over during that sequence . Beautiful. So proud of what you've accomplished and to have been here from the beginning. The world is your oyster bro ( no pun intended haha) keep it up! Excited for what the future holds for you and excited for part two and the videos that are to come! Cheers!

It's funny that in a LFS you would probably see corals half the size and be amazed, yet out there you are surrounded by these things in an environment you wouldn't see anywhere else, you're just swimming past countless corals and fish. I started to wonder if your mind was imploding from the whole experience. I kinda wish that when scuba diving we would be able to hear you speak and hear what was going through your mind. Your reaction back on deck was completely understandable and I'm glad you shared it with us. My own ramblings aside, I think this is an amazing thing you've done. Congratulations for realising one of your dreams and having the drive to make it happen!
