Part 4: Finale 2008 Jeep Jk Wrangler Rusty Frame Preservation: Rustoleum Final Spray Coat!

Eight cans of semi-gloss black Rustoleum spray paint did the job! I applied two cans every two hours to allow drying of paint in between coats. Application of light layers slightly overlapping with spray can nozzele about tweleve inches from contact surface provided adequate coverage on the frame. Let the can do the work, find a rhythm and go with it.

Be sure to use an oversized pair of safety goggles or safey glasses to protect the eyes. The 3M model 6000 respirator with P100 filters worked as intended filtering out foreign particles while I was breathing. I would suggest wearing knee pads to protect the knees. You will be crawling around in tight areas if your vehicle is on jackstands.
