I am convinced these "advisors" just pull numbers out of their bums. "You need roughly _200 BAJILLION dollars to retire!"_

1.8 mil would be the bare minimum but 2.3-2.7 mil is the goal.

I myself put money into my retirement account and Brokerage account .Simple because I long term want to know I wont have to worry about working a BS 9 to 5 job like im doing right now.Sure growth in finding a better job its out there.and I know I will find the right job for my growth. But what im looking for long term is not just growth.Im REALLY looking for Peace in my financial growth.meaning not owing anyone a debt.Being able to buy or go on vacation with out the need of some loan or credit card. And even if I use said credit cards the growth part can now pay off the whole bill the following month. With that being said. The biggest thing I find for myself as I get older if being happy in no owing anyone a dime.and just simple owing yourself when u invest and win in the markets. That growth is a true blessing because it means u are winning with your own money u have invested.PS I love your videos very helpful and always fun to watch I find myself rewatching the videos u made.

How much I need for retirement??? Honestly, enough to live off only interest on my savings. If I want to give you a f**k off amount (the amount needed in order to be able to say "f**k off in any situation I want to), that would probably be around $5 million. But just to retire, I could probably retire with less than that, like $2 million would be enough. It wouldn't be a fantastic retirement, but it would be enough.
