1. Repaste thermal paste
2. Save the license key and reinstall debloated windows.
3. Install drivers separately
4. WINDOWS updates repeated 3 times.
5. Then run Chris Titus tool in laptop configuration and check more things.
6. Done.

hey dan, i got some reccommendations for you. you should try and maybe install a lightweight distro of linux on the laptop. or if you dont want to do so, switch to another client as feather actually decreases performance while in gameplay. when you start the game, you should go to task manager and search for minecrafts process in the details section. after locating that, right click on the process, then go to priority, then click on realtime. what it does is locate more of the resources to minecraft than usual. also, try to use a video capture card and stop using obs. obs usually takes away most, if not all the performance you could be getting in minecraft. you should also use 8x8 packs as they also help.

You shouldv’e used atlas 0.3.2, I think you would have gotten way more fps since the cup will do less in the background

Hey Notro, the video you made on the best gaming os(which was Nobara OS) has some download issues if you are not from an asian country.

I would love to see you using the Fedora distrobution however it's basically the same.

Nobara's been updated to the latest version of Fedora and has many more fixes though, another good video idea would be to test all the operating systems on the 20$ laptop which are different in a sort of way and advise us if they can be used for a lower performance laptop too.

Hope you see this, I don't really think it is the best idea but you could think about it?

So, for those of you who are curious, any fps above the laptop display refresh rate is unnecessary.
This means that, after optimizing it as much as possible, you can then tweak the settings however you want until you can play at an avg. of what your display refresh rate is or on the other hand, you can turn on vsync in the options menu for minecraft and have the fps max set to the display refresh rate.
Either way, you do you.
